Our main fund raising activities are all fun:

 

Every Week -Teddy Bear Raffles in Hotels. (Thank you, Hoteliers, for this facility - it's worth �1000 a year to our Charity Account.)

 

Mar/April - Easter Egg Hunt. A welcome start to spring.

 

May - Newquay Town Walk. We help local groups raise their own funds from Sponsorship.

 

July - Carnival. The best in Cornwall many believe.

 

July/Aug Sandcastle Competitions. Fun for all the family and for serious sand sculptors, too.

 

September - Our late Summer Holiday. Hosting deserving families sponsored by other Lions Clubs around the country.

 

Casino. Throughout the year. All the thrills and glamour of Monte Carlo.

NOVEMBER - SPECIAL CASINO EVENING FOR CHILDREN IN NEED.

 

December - Auction. 'LOTS' of fun for the punters - and for us, too.

 

The following service activities bring their own satisfaction:

 

All year - The Lions Minibus. Giving folks the chance of a day out.
